First the small stuff, at the bottom of the page you will find the draft order, it's as current as the last post. On the bottom right of the page you find the trade updates, here you will find all processed and pending trades. If you do not see your trade in the completed or pending status, then the trade was denied. You will also see the "Trading table", these are notes from teams that are looking to deal. Below that the "Off the Table" section, these are notes from teams that are not looking to deal the picks or players listed. The key for the abbreviations are listed right above this section.

Now the big news...OK by looking at the answers from the trade poll (BIG thanks to all that voted). I was able to get an idea of what people were looking for when it comes to trades. The biggest decision to make was to finalize trades by commish, committee or by the teams involved. By looking at the poll it was easy to see that people wanted the following:

#1 Trades settled by the teams involved,

#2 An individual committee to decide,

#3 A committee to decide,

#4 Wanted commish involvement,

#5 Wanted commish veto power,

#6 Wanted commish veto power for the degree of the trade,

#7 Wanted commish veto power for committee decision,

#8 Wanted an assistant commish

So I wanted to turn these requests into a trade policy. Now since #1, #2,& #3 contradict each other, we are going to go with the majority decision which is choice #1. So for the most part...TRADES WILL BE SETTLED BY THE TEAMS INVOLVED. (This eliminates #7 now). Now here is where we combine the remaining criteria.

First, there will be a 2nd in command and 3rd to help out in certain scenarios.

If two teams agree on a deal and there are less than a total of 3 players or picks involved, then the trade is automatically approved. However, if there is a player involved in the trade that is on the "Yahoo! Can't cut list", then the commish votes on the deal (this solves #4 & #5). If the commish is involved in the trade with a cant cut list player, then the assistant commish has final say-so (#8).

If two teams agree on a deal and there are 4 or more players or picks involved then the commish decides on the outcome (this solves #4, #5 & #6). If the commish is involved in the trade then the assistant commish has final say-so (#8).

Now if both the commish and the assitant commish are involved in a trade then this is where the 3rd in command makes the decision.

If it is a 3 way deal, then same rules apply, the commish is not involved unless there are 4 or more players or picks involved.

Ok so I have an idea of the candidates that I would like as the assistant but I want you all to have some input, so please vote on the current poll. If you do not see your name on the poll, don't take it as an insult. I have included people who have I know participate regularly and have provided quality input or have helped with decisions in the past. There are 6 members listed, please vote on the 2 you would like in these positions... And of course you can vote for yourself. You may also vote for the "other" category but please post a comment on who and why.

Lastly, Jordan will be inheriting the Imua franchise and will now be the Doughboys. As posted before...this isnt a bad thing or a sign of disrespect but I am looking for teams that participate regularly, a local team and since Hail and Imua are the same household I'm hoping they can end up sharing a franchise to keep them both involved and able to participate. Jordan was willing to pay a premium to buy-out a team which I thought was fair. Jordan you are accepting the franchise under the understanding that if includes all earned draft picks and penalities from previous seasons. Please send me a team name ASAP.
