Power Rankings ( Week 2)

  1. -- QuasiMofo’s (1-0 1-0) (132 ppg) In a Monday nite nailbitter, Quasi hangs on to the #1 spot. Should be 2-0 at weeks end with IPSux next up.

  1. -- $Hail-Mary$ (1-0 1-0) (133 ppg) Hail takes advantage over the Brady issue and easily grabs the first win of the season. The way things are looking, Cocoon may be a walk in the park as well. 2-0 start definitely possible.

  1. ^ Buckeyes (1-0 1-0) (133ppg) Turns out Jeru has a little more bite then we may have previously thought but Buckeyes takes him out no problem. Trouble-making Sole is up next for the eyes.

  1. ^ GO HEELS! (1-0 1-0) (142ppg) (Season High 142.05) In another game that went down to the last minute in the Love/Hate bowl, Heels steals a victory and an upset. The Jeru is looking for respect and could be a tough match-up this week. PS. Can anybody help me tonight move all of Chelley’s crap to the curb?

  1. v Diaper Dandies (1-0 1-0) (112 ppg) In a rematch of last years championship Dandies makes another statement. Dandies also adds some new firepower in the WR spot. Up next the Monkeys

  1. v Bengals (0-1 0-1) (129 ppg) Trust me brother when I say I know how it feels to fall a few points short. 129 ppg should be enough to handle the Agency this week.

  1. v KILLA CALI (0-1 0-1) (138ppg) 138 point effort in a lost cause is just painful, especially vs a longtime rival. Cali has a chance to grab win #1 vs the Nut squad this week.

  1. ^ TrueSole (1-0 1-0) (115ppg) Sole jumps two spots this week with a victory over the Cocoon. Should be an interesting game this week vs. the Buckeyes, both teams looking to go 2-0 in conference play.

  1. v The Agency (1-0 1-0) (108ppg) The agency grabs a victory vs. the Monkeys in a low scoring week 1 matchup. New offense may be needed to go against the Bengals this week.

  1. ^ Jeru (R.I.P) (0-1 0-1) (119ppg) In a game that earned him a lot of respect our 2nd biggest mover up the week, Jeru climbs to #10 with an impressive showing vs. Buckeyes last week. Looking to keep the momentum going with a win vs. the Heels.

  1. ^ Doughboys (1-0 1-0) (106ppg) A win is a win. And Doughboys takes advantage of the IPSux in week 1. Doughboys finds the matchup vs. HaTeRs as tasty as a warm, buttery and flaky buttermilk biscuit. 2-0 start definitely possible.

  1. v Blind Monkeys (0-1 0-1) (95ppg) Monkeys needs to grab a win or have a very impressive showing vs. Dandies this week to move up the rankings.

  1. v Cocoon of Horror (0-1 0-1) (99ppg) Mr. Monday night couldnt get it done this week. A slow start last year caused Cocoon to miss the playoffs. Needs to get things going now and that looks damn near impossible as he gets his biggest rival and #2 ranked Hail Mary this week.

  1. v D’s Nutz (0-1 0-1) (98ppg) Our biggest fall this week for obvious reasons. Nutz doesn’t looks to be showing emotion as he handled the QB dilemma at the cost of one his precious receivers. With points this week from the QB spot, this weeks game vs. Cali is definitely winnable.

  1. v HaTeRs (0-1 0-1) (92ppg) This looks more like the team from last year…will he turn it around again and make the playoff push? A victory is definitely possible vs the Doughboys.

  1. v IndigoPalmsSucks (0-1 0-1) (95ppg) This team is making moves and looking to handle the problem areas on his squad. However, a matchup this week vs. the #1 Mofo’s could put a damper on things.
** GAMES OF THE WEEK**
I think I called a good matchup for last weeks game of the week, a 3 point victory in the #1 vs. #3. This week has even tougher matchups as I can see 4 games that could be decided by about 10 points. However you should always keep an eye on the "Bad Blood" bowl. Cocoon vs. Hail always go down to the wire. But here are the must see games this week:

#8 TrueSole (1-0) vs. #3 Buckeyes (1-0) This game just may produce the Swoosh division champ.

#11 Doughboys (1-0) vs. #15 HaTeRs (0-1) This match-up could actually put one of the league underdogs at 2-0 and as for last years runner up, he can either get back on track or fall in the hole to 0-2.
