OK, season VIII is underway and Im actually surprised to see this many moves so far. Keep it up! Can you believe we are only 39 days out???
Remember when you agree on the trade, I need to hear from both teams. Within 48 hours from there I will have the trade posted on the-flask. The trade is not approved until you see it posted. When you all are able to access the site you will get the notifications from yahoo that your player trades have been approved. Now here is some fun stuff for y'all, I know its a lot to read.
Yahoo league has made quite a few changes, most of them for the good. I would really like to take advantage of these updates because quite frankly it would seal the deal on making this the best league anybody has ever played in. I know a few of you are already aware of these changes but unfortunately I think I am only going to add the ones that won't alter the dynamics of the league. So for those looking to go to individual defensive positions, I dont think I want to add Def player depth to an already small roster. If I increase the roster size, I think some teams would take advantage and stockpile offensive players. However we may be able to utilize Injured reserve spots (more to follow). It looks as if we will be able to go back to having 4 divisions like the good ol days, so thats a plus. There would still be 2 conferences but give 2 more players a chance for some extra money on wining their divisions. Thinking about setting this up so u play ur division peeps twice, your conference peeps once and then another non-conference division. (like the nfl does). Thoughts on this would be appreciated. Also probably the greatest improvement of them all (I actually sent an email from our league last year requesting they add this), we can customize schedules...Means we can actually play everyone in our division and guarantee a game against your rival. However this may alter the bounties as there wouldnt be too many chances this year. To top it off, we can set it up to have a rivalry week to set up a custom tradition. I would also like to start using team budgets, so if I think the waivers would be better suited with a dollar value we would add that (Very possible, this would start this year.) So as soon as I learn the details I will post my decision. League site would be finalized by early next week...after I start receiving dues, which leads to the next topic.
League Dues are due before AUGUST 15th and will be:
Bronze $110 covers dues, league costs, prizes, draft day festivities
Silver $115 all the above PLUS a 23rd round draft pick
Gold $125 all the above PLUS entry to the "pick the winner" contest
I take cash or checks, text me for my address if you want to mail it. No paypal this year, I know its easier but why would we do we want to pay a middle man???
You know what? Screw it, I havent even finished typing this and I already decided to go back to 4 divisions. Here goes you will play everyone in your division twice, and everyone in your conference once. You ready to see who your division rivals are? Don't worry I know who the bed buddies are, so dont worry Dandies I'll make sure Doh!boys is with you. *Oh yeah quick side note, Doughboys asked for a name change, so thats not a typo. New team colors are pink and yellow.

A: NOOOOOOOOO. For the 10 of you that asked, I responded honestly (I swear.) but seriously now...if they did and I knew about it, wouldnt I already have it? We are too close to the season for me to be giving out secret info here guys. Text or post something to the other teams.
Q:When is the money due and how much is it?
A: August 15, smallest package is $110 (NQQ). Thats 3 weeks from today, so I know theres a payday in there somewhere for you guys. And for matters like this, if you see other league members please let them know.
Q: I can't afford it can I get a extension?
A: F*CK NO. August 15th no exceptions.
Q: Can I pay on draft day?
A: See above.
Q: Can I pay half now, half later?
A: See above the one above.
Q: Ok what happens if I miss the deadline and I don't pay?
A: You will lose your top draft pick...done. No exceptions
Q: Where and when is the draft?
A:Good question, Saturday August 29th, at Killa's house. Start time will most likely be 1pm. However if Quasi has to open then it starts at 10am. If Quasi closes we will start at 6pm.
Q: Can I bring people?
A: Honestly I'd rather that you didnt it should be closed to non-NFLL members. But I aint gonna kick anybody out...except Davy. LOL j/k

This is NOT the QUASIMOFO's, but if it was, he would suggest his division be named "3 Haole's and a Pineapple". He was going to suggest "Mango" instead of "Pineapple" but felt that was a little harsh.
Again, not the QUASIMOFO's, but really? Someone asked "Can I bring someone?" Yea, sure, if someone is named "Case of PABST BLUE RIBBON" or "A DOZEN PIZZAS". Who the hell would want to go to the draft if they aren't drafting? (even though that didn't stop DOH! Boys from showing up last year. Not sure what he was doing, but it wasn't drafting).
A few things I forgot to post. * League entry regular dues gets you stat tracker.
* Scoring will be similiar to last year. Small changes in the kicking game and small adjustments to the passing,rushing,and receiving bonuses. Trust me they are extremely insignificant.
* The league will also be using waiver budgets.Each team will receive $100 to bid on waiver players.It is a silent bid, where hi bid takes the player. Any tie is decided by the team that is lower in the rankings.
* Waiver $ (hereby known as W$)can be used in trades, meaning you can send W$ as part of the deal, and I can adjust each teams amount. Also with this we can use W$ as penalties as well.
* League is up, so as soon as I get your cash I can get you signed up.
* As of today, 2 teams will not be at the draft...Indigo and Hail.
* Ok is anybody else sick of the this is not the quasimofos? Can we get something new? New year...new jokes, get with it.
