VSOP
If anybody is interested in playing poker on Sunday night 10/31/10. Looking at a start-time of around 7pm. RSVP by Friday night, I need a headcount by then or we will have to postpone it.
NFLL
I like what I'm seeing here. Looks like we are starting to balance out quite a bit. Last week shook things up quite a bit and mathematically no team is out...going into week 8 and we have 16 team race. Statistically some teams had such narrow margins that I decided to round up a bit and that is the reason there are so many ties. Going to be a really close race...good luck this week.
1. ^ Cocoon of Horror (6-1 / 3-1) 145 ppg - Next match-up is vs the Nut squad...going head to head with the drafting mastermind. 7-1 looks very possible.
2. v Buckeyes (5-1-1/3-1) 158 ppg - The leagues highest scoring team just didn't have enough to hold on to the #1 spot.
3.-- 619ers (5-2 / 4-0) 145 ppg - Back to his old form, however his biggest game is up next. This matchup vs. Buckeyes could decide who the big dog of this league really is. s
4. (T) ^ The Agency (4-3 /3-1) 136 ppg - Looking good, 3 game win streak definitely possible with IP up next.
4. (T) v Blind Monkeys (4-3 / 4-0) 132 ppg - Breaks the losing streak and takes a nice 2 game lead in the division race.
6.(T) v KILLA CALI (4-3 / 2-2) 138 ppg - Leading Kurabu by a narrow margin, things are not getting easier for Cali with Dandies up next.
6.(T) v Diaper Dandies (4-3 / 2-2) 127 ppg - Close game this past week, should be an interesting match-up this week vs KC, one of them will b looking a 3 game losing streak.
6.(T) ^ Jeru (R.I.P.) (4-3 / 2-2) 125 ppg - Great win this week, still in the thick of the playoff race. Nice to get a bye this week and move up in the standings.
9.(T) -- $Hail-Mary$ (3-4 / 1-2) 137 ppg - Quickly moving up the charts. Going to be a real good game vs. Monkeys this week.
9.(T) ^ HaTeRs (4-3 / 1-3) 126 ppg - Another fast mover. Going to be an interesting race in the Daiya division.
11.(T) v Go Heels! (3-4 / 2-2) 128 ppg - Bye weeks and injuries making things real difficult for her right now.
11.(T) ^ TrueSole (3-4 / 2-2) 130 ppg - Give props to Sole, one of the hardest things to do in this league is the 60 point Defense...to my knowledge this is the 1st time in past 2 years.
13. v D's Nuts (2-4-1 / 1-3) 126 ppg - It was a tough match-up last week and now has to go against the top ranked team in the league.
14. -- Restraining Order (2-5 / 0-4) 104 ppg - Still in the race, needs to make some upsets happen though
15. -- IndigoPalmsSucks (1-6 / 0-4) 102 ppg - Still a chance but he may need to win out and get the ppg up a bit.
16. -- Doh!Boys (1-6 / 1-3) 96 ppg - Technically there is still a chance but looks like he will have to win out and average about 210 points a game to do so.
Lots of great match-ups this week.
***** GAME OF THE WEEK *****
#2 BUCKEYES vs. #3 THE 619ERS
- Couldn't ask for a better match-up right now, 2 highest scoring teams in the league.
***Game to keep an eye on ***
#4 BLIND MONKEYS vs. #9 $HAIL-MARY$
- Can Monkeys hold off the resurging Mary???
* Game that could be the beginning of the end *
#6 KILLA CALI vs. #6 DIAPER DANDIES
- These teams need to grab a win and turn things around.
