NFLL
The commish needs to apologize, it seems that overall record outweighs division record and I thought it was the other way around. So your division record only plays in a tie-breaker fashion. However the division winner still gets a free pass to the playoffs, regardless of overall record or division record. Win your division and your in. It is still "Win and your in". Usually about this time we have the "magic number" set in stone. This year because it is still such a close race (12 teams at .500 or better), its a lot harder to tell but as of now the magic number is 9. Meaning any team with 9 wins at season's end should have a guaranteed seeding. Even though its possible, it is still not likely to finish below .500 (6-7) and make the playoffs. Just remember we play to win, finish strong...
1. -- Buckeyes (7-2-1/4-1) 158 ppg - 1 off week wasn't enough to knock Buckeyes out the top spot. 7-2 record vs teams that have averaged 140/week vs. him. Pretty impressive, and his 158 ppg is even more impressive.
2. ^ Cocoon of Horror (7-3 / 4-1) 141 ppg - Great win last week but he will need to keep it up with a tough match-up vs. Sole this week.
3. v 619ers (7-3 / 6-0) 144 ppg - Looks like he has his team back on track. Finished undefeated in his division as well, very nice.
4.(T) ^ $Hail-Mary$ (6-4 / 3-2) 144 ppg - The league's hottest team, averaging 156ppg over his 5 game winning streak. Pressure is on him though, chance to be division leader, a great seed for the playoffs and what is left of his pride rides in the balance.
4.(T) v KILLA CALI (7-3 / 3-2) 141 ppg - Cain & Abel part 2. Can the streak go to 8?
6. ^ HaTeRs (6-4 / 3-3) 124 ppg - Not the same team that started the season apparently. Holding as division leader...for now.
7.^ TrueSole (5-5 / 3-2) 135 ppg - Still in great shape for the playoffs, will need a lot of help to take the Supedo division though.
8. (T) v Jeru (R.I.P.) (5-5/ 2-4) 124 ppg - This was tough, no starting RB's and on a 2 game losing streak. Up against Buckeyes this week too, could be bleak or could this be the upset of the week?
9. v The Agency (5-5/4-2) 131 ppg - win, lose, win, lose, win, lose...sounds Mr. Miyagi-ish with the whole Up, doooown, Up, dooooown. 3 weeks left, when are we going to see the real Agency?
10. (T) v Blind Monkeys (5-5 / 4-2) 128 ppg - Will Monkeys be able to hold off rival Dandies and go on a tear to take back Hato from HaTeRs?
10. (T) -- Diaper Dandies (5-5 / 3-3) 124 ppg - Needs to grab some more wins pretty quick to make a playoff push. Week 10's matchup vs. 619 is not helping his situation.
12. (T) -- Go Heels! (5-5 / 3-3) 120 ppg - Not sure what to make of this. Injuries and bye weeks absolutely killed her. However she walked out at 5-5, still in good shape and it looks like most of her players are going to be back soon.
13. (T) ^ D's Nuts (3-6-1 / 1-5) 125 ppg - Will need to win out, and pray for a lot of help. The half game could play a factor if it comes down to it.
13. (T) -- Restraining Order (3-7 / 1-5) 108 ppg - Keep it going, like D's he needs to win out and get some help.
15. v IndigoPalmsSucks (2-8 / 0-6) 109 ppg - The only team not able to win a division game. IndigoPalms will really suck if he can get a few upsets and play spoiler to some people's playoffs dreams.
16. -- Doh!Boys (1-9 / 1-3) 97 ppg - Owns the longest current streak in the league right now, 9 losses in a row...dude is as dead as the DohDoh.
***** GAME OF THE WEEK Cain vs. Abel Bowl *****
#4 KILLA CALI vs. #4 $HAIL-MARY$
-This game has everything you can ask for in a rivalry especially during the playoff push. Hail wins and he can break the streak. KC wins and he takes the little guy's soul.
** GAME TO KEEP AN EYE ON **
#9 THE AGENCY vs. #10 BLIND MONKEYS
-There are so many games this week with playoff implications. But this match-up with two .500 teams that are right on the bubble could be huge for all teams.
* UPSET OF THE WEEK *
#1 BUCKEYES vs. #8. JERU (RIP)
It could happen, bubble teams are rooting Buckeyes, Division leaders and Supedo are rooting for Jeru.
