NFLL
Swoosh Dominance...again. Don't worry Lance, we will give you an asterix on that loss since technically DS used to be in Swoosh. With 3 upsets last week, the playoff race is starting to heat up quite a bit. There are 12 teams at .500 or better. Bye weeks are almost over but they are taking their tolls. Although we are in week 9 already, there is still a lot of football to be played. Congrats to Monkeys who is our 1st ever NFLL team to cap out at moves. Hope he made the last one count. I am apologizing in advance but there will not be power rankings next week, commish will be on the east coast...so good luck to you all this week.
2 polls to vote on this week...ENJOY!
1. ^ Buckeyes (6-1-1/3-1) 158 ppg - Back on top, with wins over Six and Cocoon, he has solidified his spot at the top.
2. ^ 619ers (5-3 / 4-0) 147 ppg - Doesn't have the Hato locked up yet. Needs to win and get D's nuts to get the upset.
3. v Cocoon of Horror (6-2 / 3-1) 140 ppg - Sorry buddy, but I knew this would be temporary. I knew if I put you here it would just jinx you. This week's outlook does not look to good, Hail is a brand new team averaging 153 pts over the last 3 weeks.
4. (T) ^ KILLA CALI (5-3 / 2-2) 141 ppg - The Lions win and he earns a bounty...that's a great week. S&B bowl rivalry this week vs. Sole. There will not be a 62 point victory this year.
4. (T) ^ Jeru (R.I.P.) (5-3 / 2-2) 125 ppg - Doin his part to stay near the top. On a 3 game winning streak. Will need to hold off Heels to hold pace in the 4 team race for the Kurabu title.
6. ^ $Hail-Mary$ (4-4 / 2-2) 139 ppg - Absolutely on fire, turning it on at just the right time too.
7. v The Agency (4-4 /3-1) 133 ppg - Needs to hold off D's Nuts the Giant killer this week. As of now he is holding the final playoff spot, will he have what it takes to hold on to it?
8. v Blind Monkeys (4-4 / 4-0) 126 ppg - A win this week could be enough to lock up the division already. Probably not where he is used to being ranked but as long as he wins the division that's a free ride to the show.
9. ^ TrueSole (4-4 / 2-2) 130 ppg - 2 game winning streak, can he keep it up? NQQ
10. v Diaper Dandies (4-4 / 2-2) 122 ppg - Bye week couldn't have come at a better time.
11. (T) -- Go Heels! (4-4 / 2-2) 126 ppg - Really needed to pick up that victory last week. Injuries and bye weeks have been devastating to this team.
11. (T) ^ D's Nuts (3-4-1 / 1-3) 125 ppg - A tie vs #1 Buckeyes and a win over #1 Cocoon...this year has been a real Davy and Goliath story.
11. (T) v HaTeRs (4-4 / 1-3) 123 ppg - Still in the hunt. A win over Monkeys this week would be huge for Dandies shot at the Daiya title.
14. (T) -- Restraining Order (2-6 / 0-4) 104 ppg - Still in it.
14. (T) -- IndigoPalmsSucks (2-6 / 0-4) 104 ppg - Playoff run still possible. Needs to keep winning and a few upsets would really help.
16. -- Doh!Boys (1-7 / 1-3) 98 ppg - Doh knows last place. Team has issues and bye weeks a loss this week should all but eliminate the kid. Why is Buckeyes going to hit 1500 points before Doh hits 1000?
***** BAD BLOOD BOWL *****
#3 Cocoon of Horror vs. #6 $HAIL-MARY$
- This has always been the best of the rivalries, no other match-ups ever come as close as these two. In all their matchups. the averaging margin of victory between these two is only 12.5 points.
***** THE BIG GAME *****
#1 BUCKEYES vs. #14 IndigoPalmsSucks
- Not the usual great matchup as past years but the hatred between OSU and Michigan is always there.
***** S & B BOWL *****
#4 KILLA CALI vs. #9 TRUESOLE
- KC is 5-4 all-time vs Sole. Can Sole even up the series???
