Power Rankings - Week #6

NFLL

First, just want to send a congratulations out to Monkeys, wedding day is tomorrow. Good Luck Man.

This week I was able to have a quick sit down with True Sole to catch up on some fball, here is what he had to say:

Commish: So how you feeling about the Sole season?
TS: Sole season could be better! Made some mistakes draft day and now I'm feeling the effects.
Commish: Yeah you started off pretty slow, but Sole is coming around. You feeling positive going forward?
Commish: Not really, I got lucky against Jeru because Hartline had a 35 point outburst. And then this week, Im glad D's matched his height in millimeters with his point total.  Got Lucky...again.
Com: What do you think is the biggest surprise of 2012? NFL or NFLLwise?
TS: Prolly defense...didnt think defense would play a major role this year in the NFL.  If a NFL defense is good, no one is scoring anything for NFLL players...anything.
Commish: That's a real good point.  I think a lot of teams in our league don't put a lot of attention in their D. Then you have a team like Jeru that was averaging about 60ppg from their D early on, it really makes a difference.
TS: Lots of passing means alot of tackles, pass deflections, INT, etc.
Commish: I know its early on but lets take a look at the sub-.500 teams.Who's got a shot for the playoffs in your opinion?
TS: Good question...prolly none of us, but if I had to bet, probably D's.  Since he was able to draft a winning team for another NFLL owner. Unless injuries take a toll on the above .500 teams, I dont see any of the sub-.500 teams making the playoffs.  I got playoff teams at 8 or 9 wins.
Commish: That is the usual, very rare in our league that a 7 win team makes it although its been done.  Any special matchup you looking forward to in 2012?
TS: Just Cocoon again in week 9.  He texted me right after the Monday night game in Week 2 to inform me that I lost and that he was able to bring his record to .500.
Commish: Yeah that kid is definitely a smack talker.
Commish:  Wll I know its not "final" (interview was on Monday) but congrats on your 1689 win this week and good luck vs. Hail.
TS: Don't know how we dont have a trophy for the 1689 bowl???
Commish: This is the first year we will be doing a GM of the year award, if the season ended today, who would be your top 3 finalists?
TS: D's, The Agency and Cocoon
Commish: Any last words or thoughts for you fans?
TS: It's the flask or bust...Go Bears!
