Power Rankings - Week #8

NFLL

Didn't feel like doing an interview this week but since we just passed the halfway point, I thought lets look at this years NFLL's biggest surprises and let-downs of 2012..."so far".

#1. With a month to pick a name, Mitchy comes up with "Two-Times", that's about as anti-climatic as it gets right? Not even a Wu-Tang or east coast reference or anything...so disappointing, big let down.
#2.  HaTeRs is #1? If I am dreaming, please kick the shit out of me. Like I've said before this year though, I think its great if we can get some new faces in the playoffs this year...good surprise.
#3.  This is D'oh! Boys best roster in the franchise's history and he is at 1-6, surprised?...Meh, a let-down though?...definitely.
#4.  #16 TrueSole upsetting #1 Jeru (RIP) in week four.  I was unable to find the last time that happened so that is a huge bright spot on what has been a disappointing season for Sole thus far.

Sorry about the coaches poll this week, had teams flake out, so only 5 votes in the poll.  Good luck in week 8.

1. ^  HaTeRs (5-2/3-1) 151 ppg [1]  {2}
Great game this week to prove he is #1. Will face #3 KC in what should be a shoot-out.

2.  v   THE AGENCY  (6-1/3-1) 142 ppg [2]  {2}
Last weeks loss was brutal, Sole will be trouble if he cant get that offensive production up.

3.  v  KILLA CALI (4-3/2-2) 140 ppg [3]  {1}
Definitely this week's game of the week.  It's all business, especially now that bye weeks are pretty much over for Cali.

4. -  COCOON OF HORROR (5-2/3-1) 140 ppg [5]
Things looking up for the Horror, has a 1 game lead in the Cocoon division and is catching 619 on a 3 game skid.

5. v JERU (R.I.P.)  (5-2/4-0) 141 ppg [4]
Finds a way to win again but definitely has the rough schedule for the remainder of the season.
Week 8 vs. Dandies

6. ^ BLIND MONKEYS (4-3/2-2) 136 ppg [7]
Looking like a real Monkey squad again.  Had some growing pains early but definitely picking up steam.

7. v INDIGOPALMSSUCKS (4-3/3-1) 122 ppg [6]
Nutz is up next and IP is looking to rebound and shake off this 3 game losing streak.

8. ^  BUCKEYES (4-3/2-2) 129 ppg [9]
Still hanging around, playoffs looking probable at this point, the real prize is that division title though.

9.  v  $HAIL-MARY$ (3-4/1-3) 135 ppg [10]
Bye weeks hurt em bad as he drops to #10 in the playoff seeding. Tough match-up this week too vs Monkeys.

10.  v  THE 619ERS (3-4/2-2) 132 ppg [12]
Not too sure what is going on here. Was looking like a shoe-in to retain his division championship.  Now he appears to be a bubble team.

11. ^ D's NUTZ (4-3/2-2) 132 ppg [7]
Stands strong in week 7 and protects his record as the only undefeated team. Week 8 vs IP

12. v DIAPER DANDIES (2-5/2-2) 131ppg [11]
 A win vs. Jeru would be huge for Dandies this week. Not used to seeing Dandies this far below .500.

13. ^ D'OH BOYS (1-6/1-3) 137ppg [14]
Unreal...averaging 137 and lost 5 in a row. Mathematically still in the hunt but most likely will need to win out at this point. A fired up Heels squad is up next. Will Doh be able to turn it around?

14. ^ GO HEELS! (2-5/1-3) 121 ppg [13]
Two in a row, great time to start a winning streak, 3 games out for the division but definitely in the playoff race.

15. ^ TWO-TIMES (2-5/1-3) 116 ppg [15]
 PPG is what is keeping Dos-Veces near the bottom of the pack, 2 game winning streak is huge. And with Buckeyes being so up and down this year could be 3 in a row.

16. v  TRUESOLE (2-5/0-4) 116 ppg [15]
We've seen him take out the #1 team already this year. #2 Agency up next...

***GAME OF THE WEEK***
#1 HaTeRs  vs. #3 KILLA CALI
Lot of season left but this one could shake up the rankings quite a bit.

#6 Blind Monkeys  vs.  #9 $Hail-Mary$
These 2 big-time franchises don't square up to often and Yahoo is predicting this to be a close one.
